ST. CECILIA’S PASTOR PUBLISHES 6TH BOOK

A Concise Guide to Your Rights in the Catholic Church

This practical book is an effort to help Catholics appreciate and understand their rights in the Church and how they may vindicate those rights. It offers examples including access to the sacraments and parents' role in educating their children in the faith.

This sound reference book decodes complex Roman Catholic Church law and doctrine. It is the third book in the Concise Guide Series, a series of books tackling questions of central importance for contemporary Catholics. Other books in the series are A Concise Guide to Canon Law and A Concise Guide to Catholic Social Teaching.

Father McKenna, a former Chancellor of the Catholic Diocese of Rochester and President of the Canon Law Society of America, has been Pastor of St. Cecilia’s since 2000. Ordained in 1977, he received his doctorate in canon law from St. Paul University in Ottawa in 1990.

Check out Father McKenna's other books.
