Request for Funeral Mass

This Funeral Mass page is not a substitute for the personal one-on-one contact necessary when requesting a Funeral Mass. Please use this page as a means of organizing your requests in preparation for your personal contact with the Pastoral Minister.

This personal contact MUST occur at the Parish Office but may be done by telephone or e-mail if circumstances dictate that this measure be used because of distance.

GOSPEL Gospel shall be selected and read by the Presider (Priest) followed by the Homily.


GENERAL INTERCESSIONS Intercession prayers will be read by:

In Baptism, DECEASED received the light of Christ.
Scatter the darkness now and lead him/her over the water of death.
We pray to the Lord,
         R. Lord, Hear our Prayer

DECEASED was nourished at the table of our Savior.
Welcome HimHer into the halls of the heavenly banquet.
We pray to the Lord,
         R. Lord, Hear our Prayer

Many friends and members of our families have gone before us and await the kingdom.
Let us pray especially for:

Grant them an everlasting home with your Son.

Those who trusted in the Lord now sleep in the Lord.
Give refreshment, rest and peace to all whose faith is known to you alone.

The family and friends of DECEASED seek comfort and consolation.
Heal their pain and dispel the darkness and doubt that come from grief.
